Muncie Alliance is a church that believes in teaching the Word of God, fostering the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of our members, and equipping and mobilizing believers in ministry.

 

What to Expect

We believe in preaching through the Bible, taking into account the entire counsel of God and the context in which each verse is found. We have chosen this method over topical teaching because it allows God to work His perfect balance as we take into account the entire scope of His Word, rather than resting on pet doctrines or favorite passages. We also believe that this allows for Biblical history and culture to set a contextual backdrop for each verse, pointing us to deeper meanings that could be missed or misunderstood when the Word is read superficially or apart from the surrounding text. (See our Values) On Sunday mornings, passages are typically taken from the New Testament. The Old Testament is studied during Wednesday evening services.
