Who We Are

During a dry and discouraging time in Muncie Alliance's history, God spoke a promise to Guy Pfanz that He would "stack the deck" at Muncie Alliance Church.  Not fully understanding the promise at the time, Guy prayed for a more clear explanation.  "I am going to bring the right people at the right time to build my church," God told him.

This promise has shaped us as a community.  We take seriously the claim that this is God's church, not ours.  Therefore, we do not cater to church shoppers or buy into a consumer mentality.  We know that God will, like a magnet, draw those to the church who will be blessed and who will give blessings back.  He will, as he promised, stack the deck.
