Muncie Alliance Church

Our History

After the children of Israel had safely crossed the Jordan River during flood season, Joshua instructed twelve men to carry out twelves stones from the middle of the Jordan to build a memorial to remind them of the miraculous work of God. And when the stones had been set up at Gilgal, Joshua instructed,

"When your children ask their fathers in time to come, saying, 'What are these stones?' then you shall inform your children, saying, 'Israel crossed this Jordan on dry ground.'"

"For the LORD your God dried up the waters of the Jordan before you until you had crossed, just as the LORD your God had done to the Red Sea, which He dried up before us until we had crossed; that all the peoples of the earth may know that the hand of the LORD is mighty, so that you may fear the LORD your God forever."

Here at MAC, we too want to build a memorial to the Lord. As we have walked by faith, God has provided, and our stories tell of His faithfulness. He has given us a history that has shaped us into the church we are today. We want to share our history with you.  Click on the stories below to read about significant events that have shaped the history of Muncie Alliance and that continue to shape how we look at our future.
