The leaders here at Muncie Alliance Church are committed to come alongside those within the Body that have been gifted with a desire to take the good news of forgiveness through the blood of Christ to the nations. We would like to see these individuals equipped and sent out by the body to serve in this area of a very special calling. MAC has both domestic and international initiatives that the Lord has placed upon our hearts within the community. Some are in the very beginning stages. Others are now in progress. Is the Lord speaking to your heart about any of these opportunities? IrelandWe are praying for God to provide a way for this team to have a credible presence in Ireland. Perhaps this could entail some property or a space to start a business for the team to minister bi-vocationally, to provide a service within the country, and/or to create employment opportunities for nationals. Mark & Ange Guinn, team leaders and past interns, currently live and work in Ireland. They are humbly seeking the Lord’s leading and networking with believing nationals. They have Bible studies going and you can get a better handle of their ministry on their blog.
The rest of those interested in Ireland team continue to prepare state-side. If you are called to serve the Lord in Ireland, please contact Eric Hedin. Spain Brett Tippey is currently living in Pamplona Spain as he pursues his Doctorate degree in architecture. He has spent extensive time in Spain as he completed his master's degree there as well.
We continue praying for a credible presence in Spain and God’s direction for this needy area of ministry. If you are called to serve the Lord in Spain, please contact Brett for more information. Thailand Kaleb Jordan and his wife Sa recently visited the States from Thailand and encouraged many of us in the continuing vision of reaching the unreached in unique ways through this ministry. The hope is to begin a coffee plantation that would have a direct connection to Alliance World Coffees and other coffee roasting companies, providing a market to relieve this economically depressed region and people group. Through this business, they expect to establish a presence and working relationship within the country where indigenous churches could be established, and the nationals themselves could minister more freely to unreached people groups. For more information on Thailand, please contact the church office at (765) 282-6119. Other Opportunities: Watch this space!! Please feel free to contact Chris Williamson for more information on MAC missions. |
