Pastor
Brief info
Pastor Greg joined the staff of MAC in June 2023. Having been a pastor for almost 20 years, Greg has planted a church, consulted churches, and has served an associate pastor overseeing small groups. This is his second time he has served as the lead pastor.
Most people do not know that Greg is passionate about coaching football and that his lifelong dream was to be in a boy band. The dream has yet to be fulfilled. The most enjoyable things about being a pastor for him are preaching, starting new ministries, and sharing the Gospel. In his spare time, you may catch him golfing, painting, or hanging out with his incredible family!
Speaking of family, Greg has been married for over 30 years to his college sweetheart, Amy. Together they have three adult children, Nathan, Joshua, and Abigail. Nathan is married to Emily, and Joshua is married to Amanda. They have two dogs, Pouncey and Samson.
Greg is excited about what God is doing at MAC. He often dreams about the things that God will do with a people fully committed to Jesus, the Great Commandment, and the Great Commission. Greg prays regularly for revival in the church and longs to see God move in mighty ways in Delaware County.
Greg’s life verse is Colossians 1:27-29 which says, “27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. 29 For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me.” (ESV). Greg asks the Lord to empower Him to fulfill the mandate of this passage in his daily ministry at MAC.
