SUMMARY:Prayer
DESCRIPTION:From the youngest child to the oldest adult\, we intend for prayer to be woven through every ministry expression. One particular focused time of prayer happens every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Blue Room. Everyone is welcome! It is a very relaxed and inspiring atmosphere\, where people join throughout the hour\, as they are able\, and move on to other ministry responsibilities during the hour as well. It’s such an encouraging time to be a part of! \nGod has created us to be a relational people\, both with him and with others. Prayer is one of the primary ways that we interact with God\, whether that be in adoration\, thanksgiving\, confession or petition. In the New Testament\, we see many examples where the early disciples came together to pray as a community. Our desire is to encourage prayer through out every ministry expression at MAC\, helping us grow as people of faith who express both their love and dependence on God through individual and corporate prayer. \nWhat to expect: While many pray aloud\, some do not feel ready to do so. We welcome all to come and join us as we worship our Lord through prayer\, intercede for needs within the MAC community\, and prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit’s beautiful presence in our midst as we prepare for Sunday morning worship together.

SUMMARY:Worship Service
DESCRIPTION:The worship service starts at 10 am\, but if you have kids we recommend you come early to register them in MACKids (or to give yourself a little extra time to enjoy a special latte made by one of our team members).  At 10 am\, the children join the adults in the sanctuary as we open our worship service with songs. Nobody has assigned seats\, so sit where you’re comfortable. Children are dismissed for their own fun lessons before the teaching portion\, usually by our pastor\, Greg Lex. We usually study an entire book of the bible before moving to the next series. \nWhat to expect in worship:  We point people to Jesus\, and worship Him together. Ultimately\, when we worship the Lord through our singing\, it’s for HIM! But every person (young and old) who attends MAC gets to be an active participant in this portion of our Sunday morning service. How can we describe it? It’s pursuit\, adoration\, expression\, gratitude\, praise\, awe\, and reverence – in short\, it’s an encounter with God. \nIt’s fixing our thoughts and attention on Jesus\, and–through our singing–giving expression to who He is\, what He has done\, and how much we love Him. We sing things like\, “Christ is my firm Foundation!” “How great is our God!” “Great is Your faithfulness!” Our worship team leads the congregation in both traditional and more contemporary styles of worship songs. We may have a full band some Sundays (with several instruments) or an acoustic set (with just a guitar and keyboard)–or anything in between.

Youth from grades 6-12 meet every Sunday from 6-8 p.m. in the Warehouse (the building next to the church) for snacks\, worship\, teaching\, and hey… just being with others who get you. \n\n\n\nWe dress casually and comfortably\, so no stress on what to wear. If you have food allergies\, it’s good to let us know so we can have something for you the next time you come! \nWe have a team of adult volunteers who love youth and have all been background checked.

Youth from grades 6-12 meet every Sunday from 6-8 p.m. in the Warehouse (the building next to the church) for snacks\, worship\, teaching\, and hey… just being with others who get you. \n\n\n\nWe dress casually and comfortably\, so no stress on what to wear. DESCRIPTION:From the youngest child to the oldest adult\, we intend for prayer to be woven through every ministry expression. One particular focused time of prayer happens every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. in the Blue Room. Everyone is welcome! It is a very relaxed and inspiring atmosphere\, where people join throughout the hour\, as they are able\, and move on to other ministry responsibilities during the hour as well. It’s such an encouraging time to be a part of! \nGod has created us to be a relational people\, both with him and with others. Prayer is one of the primary ways that we interact with God\, whether that be in adoration\, thanksgiving\, confession or petition. In the New Testament\, we see many examples where the early disciples came together to pray as a community. Our desire is to encourage prayer through out every ministry expression at MAC\, helping us grow as people of faith who express both their love and dependence on God through individual and corporate prayer. \nWhat to expect: While many pray aloud\, some do not feel ready to do so. We welcome all to come and join us as we worship our Lord through prayer\, intercede for needs within the MAC community\, and prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit’s beautiful presence in our midst as we prepare for Sunday morning worship together.

DESCRIPTION:The worship service starts at 10 am\, but if you have kids we recommend you come early to register them in MACKids (or to give yourself a little extra time to enjoy a special latte made by one of our team members).  At 10 am\, the children join the adults in the sanctuary as we open our worship service with songs. Nobody has assigned seats\, so sit where you’re comfortable. Children are dismissed for their own fun lessons before the teaching portion\, usually by our pastor\, Greg Lex. We usually study an entire book of the bible before moving to the next series. \nWhat to expect in worship:  We point people to Jesus\, and worship Him together. Ultimately\, when we worship the Lord through our singing\, it’s for HIM! But every person (young and old) who attends MAC gets to be an active participant in this portion of our Sunday morning service. How can we describe it? It’s pursuit\, adoration\, expression\, gratitude\, praise\, awe\, and reverence – in short\, it’s an encounter with God. \nIt’s fixing our thoughts and attention on Jesus\, and–through our singing–giving expression to who He is\, what He has done\, and how much we love Him. We sing things like\, “Christ is my firm Foundation!” “How great is our God!” “Great is Your faithfulness!” Our worship team leads the congregation in both traditional and more contemporary styles of worship songs. We may have a full band some Sundays (with several instruments) or an acoustic set (with just a guitar and keyboard)–or anything in between.
